From the Producers of DRUMLine Live! Music Royalty – The King, Queen and Emperor of their time!!!
A Multi-Media Tribute Concert in Memory of Michael, Whitney, and Prince
Royalty can be defined as a family inclusive of a King, Queen, and a Prince. Those within a royal
family are typically described as powerful and noble. They are expected to exemplify majestic
qualities and demonstrate greatness in every aspect of their lives. Michael Jackson, Whitney
Houston, and Prince were not related by blood, but the supreme nature of their music will
eternally link them as a Royal Family.
Michael Jackson was born on August 29, 1958. Recognized globally as the King of Pop, he sold
more than 200 million records worldwide. With 13 Grammys and 26 American Music Awards,
Jackson is the most decorated artist in the history of popular music. He is also the only artist to
have a top ten single in five different decades on the Billboard charts. Michael Jackson is
regarded by many as the most successful entertainer of all time.
Stevie Wonder once stated that, “If Michael (Jackson) was the King of Pop, Prince should be the
Emperor.” Born on June 7, 1958, Prince Rogers Nelson was a multi-talented, innovative singer
and instrumentalist who covered all genres of music, including Pop, R&B, Rock and Roll, New
Wave, and Soul. He sold more than 100 million records worldwide and earned seven Grammy
Awards, a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award for the film, Purple Rain.
A Queen in her own right, Whitney Houston was born on August 9, 1963. She is regarded as one
of the top musical artists ever to grace the stage. Whitney sold more than 150 million records
worldwide and was the first artist to achieve seven consecutive No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hits.
Her 1985 album entitled, “Whitney Houston”, became the best-selling debut album by a
woman in history.
Collectively, Whitney, Michael, and Prince have sold more than 600 million records worldwide.
Nevertheless, these incredible entertainers never performed together, as their many fans all
around the world had always hoped… or did they? Just IMAGINE if a King, Queen, and Emperor,
all performed on the same stage, as rivals, or as friends, as the world always wanted to see.
Wow!! Just IMAGINE!!
